We may love having everyone home during the holiday season, but it's just as easy to go a little stir-crazy. Luckily, there are untold riches of holiday music and dance available. Untold until now.

Ballet Met

The Nutcracker, the world鈥檚 most enchanting ballet, was first danced before the Tsar in 1893. George Balanchine鈥檚 production for the New York City Ballet made this work a holiday favorite. Thank you, George, but we have and Gerard Charles'
glittering production at the Ohio Theater. December 8-24th.

New Albany Ballet 

is gaining a fine reputation in its early years. This season they add a new production of The Nutcracker to their repertoire. Choreography by Jimmy Orrante. Performances December 2-11 at the McCoy Center for the Arts in New Albany.

Columbus Symphony Holiday Pops 

continues its grand holiday tradition with a spectacular holiday show perfect for the entire family! Tony DeSare joins the Symphony for a jazzy take on some holiday classics making this the must-see show to start your holiday off right. Performances at the Ohio Theater on December 2-4.

New Albany Symphony Holiday Spectacular

It鈥檚 the 鈥淢ost Wonderful Time of the Year鈥 and it begins at the McCoy for for the whole family. We welcome to the stage the New Albany Symphony Chorus and guest soloist Kim Hopcraft. Luis Biava conducts.

Capital University Christmas Festival

Capital University Conservatory of Music will present its annual with the Chapel Choir, Choral Union, Cantabile, Consort, and a variety of instrumentalists. This festival is a long-standing holiday tradition enjoyed by the university, its friends, and the greater Columbus community. December 1-4.
