Matthew Rand Joins 星空无限传媒 89.7 NPR News as Reporter
COLUMBUS, OHIO, OCTOBER 11, 2021 鈥� 星空无限传媒 has hired Matthew Rand as a full-time newsroom reporter for 89.7 NPR News. Rand served as an interim producer during the pandemic for 星空无限传媒鈥檚 All Sides with Ann Fisher.
Rand worked at several television and radio stations in Kentucky where he gained skills as a reporter, anchor and multimedia journalist. He pitched and covered stories frequently picked up by CNN, CBS and AP that were shared with affiliates across the nation. His high-profile coverage includes issues and controversies surrounding Kentucky鈥檚 pension system and live coverage of President Donald Trump鈥檚 2018 rally on the campus of Eastern Kentucky University. Rand鈥檚 work has been recognized numerous times by the Kentucky Associated Press Broadcasters Association. Originally from Cincinnati, Rand attended Morehead State where he studied broadcasting and journalism.
