19-year-old double homicide suspect fatally shot by Franklin County deputy

The Franklin County Sheriff's office has identified the homicide suspect shot and killed Tuesday night by SWAT deputies at a gas station in Northeast Columbus as 19-year-old Pozz Striblin.

Sheriff Dallas Baldwin said Striblin was a suspect in a double homicide on May 31 that happened on West Broad Street. Deputies were conducting surveillance Tuesday night on Striblin at a gas station at Stelzer and Agler Roads. Baldwin in a news release said deputies were attempting to execute an active felony arrest warrant for Striblin for 'Failure to Register'. Baldwin said shots were fired.

A gun was recovered from Striblin. No deputies were injured. The Ohio Bureau of Criminal Investigation is handling the case.
