Ohio’s American Indian culture is ancient and rich, but disconnected from the present. We look at efforts to revive the connection here and in Oklahoma.  Plus, how the work of a professor to revive the language of the Miami "Myaamia" Nation of Oklahoma has led to a MacArthur “genius grant” fellowship.

Guests:

  • Daryl Baldwin, Director,
  • Kerry Holton, President,
  • Marti Chaatsmith, Assoc. Director,

Event:

Join Ohio History Connection and celebrate September 25–October 1. American Indian Week is a state-designated week honoring the influence of American Indians on Ohio culture.
