Historic Paganini's Violin Visits Columbus

Considered by many to be the most famous violin in the world, Niccolò Paganini's Il Cannone made a historic visit to Columbus, Ohio in May 2019. The violin was constructed in 1743 by Bartolomeo Giuseppe Guarneri and is known for its rich and powerful sounds. It was owned and played by Italian virtuoso Paganini, who bequeathed the violin to the city of Genoa, Italy, a sister city of Columbus.
