Travelers brace for disruptions as FAA cuts air traffic

The FAA laid out a plan to cut as much as 10% percent of flights operating out of 40 major airports. Airlines already pre-emptively cancelled hundreds of flights in response. The Trump administration said the move was triggered by the government shutdown, as air traffic controllers working without pay have been calling in sick.
