Jacob McDonald, 61, is charged with 15 felonies and several misdemeanor assault charges in Licking County. A fiery crash killed six people in 2023 traveling from Tuscarawas County to Columbus.

The crash involved a charter bus carrying more than 50 band students to a conference in the Columbus area. Three students and three adults - two parent chaperones and a Tusky Valley teacher - were pronounced dead at the scene.

The charter bus was transporting students from a school in eastern Ohio, Licking County Emergency Management Agency Director Sean Grady said.
