The Ohio State Fair's inclusive pig show event offered people between the ages of nine and 22 with intellectual or developmental disabilities the chance to show pigs in a fair arena.

The first known report of Asian longhorned ticks on U.S. soil was in 2017 in New Jersey. They've since spread to at least 17 states, including Ohio.

The Ohio Department of Agriculture has identified a livestock animal veterinary shortage in Southwest Ohio. Some farmers are having to do more of the health care work for their animals on their own.
